School Food

  1. Make it healthier
  • Calorie count
  • Foods to give students energy
     2.  Make it tastier
  • Make it not look disgusting
  • Make the taste better
     3.  Have a wider variety of fruits
  • Not just apples, oranges, and bananas
  • Students are supposed to eat 1 1/2 to 2 cups per. day for 14-18 year olds according www.choosemyplate.gov
    4.  Have cooks make food instead of using prepackaged frozen food
  • Prepackaged food is less nutritious
  • Prepackaged food doesn't taste as good as a fully cooked food
    5. Proportions
  • Proportions equal with each food from each food group
  • Have food be equal portions to what were supposed to be eating
